Pet Stay Guide
At The Hideaway at North Forest FLX, we know dogs are part of the adventure. Because we are surrounded by 30 wooded acres near Keuka Lake, it can be a beautiful place for both people and pups — with a few important guidelines to protect the home and future guests.

🏡 Inside the Home
To preserve the rustic modern charm of The Hideaway:
Dogs must remain off all furniture and beds
Please keep dogs on the first floor by utilizing the gate at the stairs.
Any pet hair or mess must be cleaned up.
Dogs must be crated or properly secured when left unattended.
There is a Dog foot pal and dog towels on the bottom drawer of the green chair cabinet near the bottom of the stairs to wipe your dogs paws when needed.
We work hard to maintain a high standard of cleanliness, and these guidelines help us continue offering a dog-friendly option without compromising the experience.
🌲 Outside on the Property
Our property is surrounded by forest and wildlife.
Leashing is not required, but is strongly recommended outside of the deck and fire pit areas.
There is a dog run line off the back porch to the tree.
Guests must clean up after their dogs at all times
Please be mindful of wildlife and neighboring properties
While the setting feels private, this is still a shared natural environment.
💵 Responsibility for Damage
Guests are fully responsible for:
Any damage caused by pets
Additional cleaning required due to pet mess
Stains, scratches, or chewing damage
Repairs or additional cleaning beyond normal turnover will be charged accordingly.
Our Goal
We want to continue offering a space where guests can travel with their dogs — something not every property near Keuka Lake allows. These guidelines help us balance hospitality with protecting the home and the experience for future guests.
If you plan to bring your dog, please message us before booking so we can confirm approval.
We look forward to welcoming you — and your pup — to the forest. 🌲🐾
