At North Forest Farms, we’re creating a place where nature, food, and wellness come together in a truly immersive farm experience. Nestled among pine forests and rows of blackberries in the heart of the Finger Lakes, our farm is designed to invite guests to slow down, reconnect with the land, and enjoy the simple pleasures of the outdoors.

Visitors will be able to wander through lush berry orchards, pick fresh fruit straight from the vine, and enjoy farm-inspired food and drinks crafted from what the land provides.

Building a Regenerative Orchard Ecosystem

Our approach to agriculture begins with the natural systems that already exist on the land. The property is bordered and protected by mature stands of pine and mixed hardwood trees that have shaped the local environment for generations. Rather than removing these natural assets, our goal is to preserve and integrate them into the design of the farm.

These surrounding forests act as natural windbreaks, help moderate temperature and moisture, and support beneficial insects, birds, and wildlife that contribute to pollination and ecological balance. By protecting these mature tree corridors, we are creating a sheltered microclimate that allows our orchard and berry plantings to establish and thrive.

Our blackberry orchard is being developed with regenerative principles in mind — focusing on soil health, biodiversity, and long-term sustainability. Through practices such as mulching, maintaining perennial plantings, improving soil organic matter, and encouraging natural habitat around the orchard, we aim to build a resilient agricultural system that improves over time.

By working with the land rather than against it, North Forest Farms will function as a living ecosystem where forest, orchard, soil, water, and wildlife all play a role in supporting productive agriculture. Our vision is to cultivate a farm that not only produces healthy fruit, but also strengthens the landscape that sustains it for future generations.
