The Hideaway is a secluded retreat nestled in the woods, making it a peaceful escape but a bit tricky to locate. Here’s a guide to help you find our serene getaway whether you are coming from the south via Hammondsport or from the north via Penn Yan.

From Hammondsport (South):

1. Start on Route 54: Begin your journey northbound on Route 54, heading towards Penn Yan & Watkins Glen.

2. Watch for Landmarks: Keep an eye out for local landmarks as you drive. The scenery is beautiful but pay attention as the entrance to The Hideaway can be easily missed.

3. Look for The Hideaway on Your Right: As you drive north, look for The Hideaway on your right side. It is set back from the road, nestled among the trees.

4. Don't Go Too Far: If you reach Birdseye Hollow Rd, you've gone too far. Turn around and watch for The Hideaway on your left as you head back south.

From Penn Yan (North):

1. Start on Route 54: Head south on Route 54, moving towards Hammondsport.

2. Pass Birdseye Hollow Rd: As you drive, you will pass Birdseye Hollow Rd on your left. Keep an eye out after this point.

3. Find The Hideaway on Your Left: Shortly after passing Birdseye Hollow Rd, look for The Hideaway on your left. It's hidden by the trees, so drive slowly to avoid missing the entrance.

Tips for Both Directions:

- Drive Slowly: The Hideaway is designed to be a hidden retreat, so the entrance might not be immediately obvious. Take your time and keep your eyes peeled for the sign.

- Use GPS Wisely: GPS can be helpful, but it might not be 100% reliable given the wooded setting. It's a good idea to use these instructions as your primary guide.

- Daytime Arrival: If possible, try to arrive during daylight hours. It’s easier to spot The Hideaway when the sun is up and the surroundings are visible.
