Using the Bedroom Wall Heaters / Fans
Welcome to the Hideaway! For your comfort, we've equipped your room with a Heat Storm HS-1000 Infrared Heater & fan. Here's how to use it:
To switch between Heat & Fan please press down on the fan icon for 3 to 4 seconds, this will switch between modes.
For Heating
Turning On the Heater
1. Locate the Heater: Find the Heat Storm HS-1000 mounted on the wall.
2. Power Switch: On the side or back of the heater, you'll find the main power switch. Flip this switch to the "On" position to power up the heater.
Setting the Temperature
1. Control Panel: Look at the heater's control panel, usually located on the heater's top right-hand side.
2. Temperature Control: Press the "+" or "-" button to set your desired temperature. The heater's display will show the current setting. The HS-1000 is designed to heat the room to the temperature you select and maintain it by turning on and off as needed.
Safety Features
- The Heat Storm HS-1000 comes with a built-in safety feature that automatically shuts off the heater if it tips over or overheats, providing you with peace of mind.
Additional Tips
- For Optimal Heating: Keep doors and windows closed to retain heat.
- Energy Saving: To save energy, lower the temperature setting when the room is unoccupied.
- Do Not Cover: Ensure the heater's front and rear are not blocked by furniture or curtains to allow for proper airflow and proper fire safety.

- Manual Off: Press the power button on the heater or the remote control to turn it off. Flip the main power switch to the "Off" position if you will not be using the heater for an extended period.

How to Switch the Heat Storm HS-1000 Infrared Heater to Fan-Only Mode.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Power On the Unit:
Locate the power button on the front panel of the heater.
Press the power button to turn on the unit. You should see the display light up.
Access the Control Panel:
Once the unit is on, you’ll need to access the control panel. This is done using the buttons on the front of the unit.
Select Mode:
Look for the “Mode” button on the control panel or the remote. This button allows you to cycle through the different operating modes of the heater.
Press the “Mode” button until you see the fan icon or the word “FAN” displayed on the screen. This indicates that the unit is now in fan-only mode.
Adjust Fan Speed (if applicable):
Adjust the fan speed. you can adjust it by pressing the “Fan Speed” button or similar control on the panel.
Choose your desired fan speed to ensure optimal cooling.
Ensure Proper Ventilation:
Make sure that the heater’s vents are not obstructed. Proper airflow is essential for effective cooling.
Turn Off Heating Element:
Confirm that the heating element is turned off. In fan-only mode, the heating function should be automatically disabled, but it’s good to double-check.
