The guides provided below are designed to ensure a seamless and enjoyable check-in experience at The Hideaway.
Your entry code to access The Hideaway will be the last 4 digits of the phone number your provided for your reservation, unless we emailed or messaged you something different. This code will only be valid during your reservation period.
Winter in the Woods at The Hideaway
Due to the unique architectural design of The Hideaway, where heat naturally rises, we recommend reviewing our room guide to choose the best sleeping arrangements for your stay.
2nd-Floor Bedrooms: The Loft Bedroom and Balcony Bedroom stay warmer, making them a cozy option for guests who enjoy toasty winter nights.
1st-Floor Bedrooms: The Spa Bedroom and Porch Bedroom remain cooler, ideal for those who prefer a refreshing chill while they sleep.
To ensure personalized comfort, each room is equipped with a personal heater that can be set to either heat or fan mode, allowing you to adjust the temperature to your liking.
To maximize comfort throughout the home, we encourage guests to keep the living room ceiling fan running, which helps circulate the warmth from the heating systems throughout the house, and helps keeps the first floor warmer.

House Rules
A signed Renters Agreement matching the ID of the Renter and Credit card used for the booking is required, to prevent fraud.
The Hideaway has well water, guest may prefer to bring bottled water for drinking.
The Hideaway has a Septic System, Do not flush anything down the toilets other than the provided toilet paper. We strongly encourage the use of the heated bidets for the best guest experience.
The Hideaway is in a residential area, guests are requested to observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM -7:00 AM. All renters will be subject to NY Penal Law sec. 240.20 or any successor statute regarding disorderly conduct.
Littering is illegal and all trash properly disposed of in provided onsite receptacles.
No pets are permitted on the premises.
No guest access to the basement.
No Smoking or Vaping inside the premises. All cigarette butts should be removed and properly disposed of.
No frying with oil due to risk of fire hazard. All food & beverages should be removed and disposed of in the trash receptacles near the road.
